Ester Helliksen, 82, passed away February 3, 2011.Mrs. Helliksen born in Pleasantville, NY.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Helliksen. She is also survived by her children Ronald and Sten Helliksen, Sandra Connolly, and Cheryl Shaw; two sisters Vera Wiren and Viola Nordstrom; by 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Baker Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, Virginia 23435 with burial at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett’s Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA.
